To the Currumbin Community.
Be empowered to make a difference.
Go to this link and download the documents contained therein.
Read the Reports from the town planning experts, the visual amenity experts, the ecology and environment experts which incorporate the pleas from our indigenous community to save Currumbin from overdevelopment and desecration of the spiritual places on Currumbin Hill and the wildlife that lives on its vegetated slopes and ridges.
Then, if you agree help us lobby the Council to accept our submissions and use our drafts to ‘beef up’ local laws to protect and preserve Currumbin. Supporters are free to download and use our pictures in your social media. Please link back/tag https://savecurrumbin.com

  • Vegetated Cliffs Gallery
Developers want to strip all vegetation off the cliffs and hills and excavate thousands of cubic metres per lot out of Currumbin Hill to build high rise apartment complexes
  • Low Rise Gallery
Low rise as exists expecially along the newly built Duringan Street shops and apartment developments is what the community expects along Pacific Parade
  • Currumbin Beach at Night Photos
No one wants late night bars and dining along Pacific Parade. The existing arrangements to 10PM are working well.
  • Currumbin Beach Photos
Iconic village feel and green cliffs that meet the sea with unique topography.
  • Currumbin Valley
Currumbin is unique on the Gold Coast because it is where the rainforest of cliffs and ridges meet the beach.
  • Historic Currumbin
    Pictures of Currumbin since 1900
