Please come.

Notwithstanding that it’s a 3-storey limit here, the interstate developer wants what appears to us and our Kings Council to be a 4-5 storey building as code accessible (not the more stringent and publicly accountable impact assessable.)

As so much of the vegetated escarpment will be excavated to accommodate this 4-5 storey development (see advices from legal experts on storeys), a higher standard should apply and prevail of impact assessment. If this DA proceeds as it is, it will set a dangerous precedent for the whole of Currumbin and there’s a risk we will lose its unique character as well as a risk to the structural integrity of the escarpment which is rated as HIGH risk of landslide.

Thank you for coming and bringing a neighbour if possible.
