Here are the quick steps to make the submission to change the City Plan to keep Currrumbin Green, village feel family friendly and free from late night shenanigans.
We don’t want trouble in Currumbin that comes with late night bar scene and so have told Council not to try and slip one into our Neighbourhood Centre zone. We have so many venues that service the community and visitors and indeed many residents are members. We have an excellent relationship with them and there’s no need for a late night bar scene. What we don’t want is strangers looking for trouble lurking on our streets and beaches late at night and litter the place with bottles and needles.

My Mum n Dad had a beach house for years in Currumbin and it was safe at night and a lovely atmosphere during the day. Even the houses at the top of Woodgee Street now are an eyesore. Should have kept them low level. The planes used to come in over us so close you felt you could reach up and touch the wheels. Currumbin is pretty leave it that way.
